Sushi in Houston

Crave Sushi - Located at 2900 Travis, south of Downtown and on the West side of the street.  This was a real treat.

I love Sushi and I was excited to see Texas Sushi on the menu.   Well Pilgrim, it had slightly seared slices of beef and partner, ..... it was just plain good. Made me want to slap my mama!  Sorry, got carried away.

The sushi was made fresh at the bar and delivered to the table with an excellent presentation. I recommend this place for it's decor and excellent fare. A great place for a quick lunch or romantic dinner.

Try it. You will like it! Just South of downtown Houston.

BTW - Crave has the best Kobe Burger around. Beats any burger I can find!

Ichibon - Kemah   

Also listed under my Japanese picks, their sushi bar serves a great, fresh selection of artisitc delights.   Located on Hwy 146 to the left of the main drag into the Kemah Boardwalk, they have a choice of sit down or Hibatchi grill tables. Their chefs are gifted and entertaining.

Bings Asian Bistro - Willis/Lake Conroe

Not quite on the water but close, this gem is well known around Lake Conroe as the best Asian Restaurant going!  Their sushi is excellent and prepared fresh. Unfortunately, they do not prepare it in front of you, but, just the same, it is worth the drive if you are in the area.
